PLANNING AND PRICING YOUR HUNT

The Buck & Boar will gladly custom tailor a hunting package to meet the needs of the individual or large group. We do not believe in hidden charges. We will not charge you any unexpected add-on costs. You will be charged a daily fee to stay, eat and hunt, and a trophy fee for each animal you harvest. Your daily fee is determined by the size of your group. This is charged per person per day. In addition to your daily fee you must pay a trophy fee for each animal you shoot. Trophy fees are determined by the size/species of the animal. Your daily fee x the days you were here added to any trophy fee(s) that apply = the total price of your hunt.

Daily fee: The daily fee covers meals, lodging, ice, snacks, bottled water, guides, in-field trans., shooting range use and as much time in the stand as you would like.

Trophy fee: The trophy fee covers your harvest, tracking & hopefully a recovery, skinning & caping, quartering the meat and ice.

*note: tips do account for a percentage of a guides and cooks salary *

Your hunt will be reserved for the species of animal you book it for. Adding on additional animals without advance notice is usually not a problem but in some cases herd density and the demand of future bookings will not allow us to do so. Informing us of your harvest goals when you book will keep this from being a problem.

Deposit: A $200.00 non-refundable deposit is required in advance for each guest. We accept M/C, & Visa over the phone and in camp. Personal checks are accepted for advance deposit only, no checks are accepted in camp!

The Buck & Boar is not a kill-pen.We do not offer canned hunts. If you’re looking to kill an animal without investing time and effort you may be disappointed hunting with us. Our animals live in an enclosure but they are wild and wise to hunting pressure. We do not guarantee a kill. Most of our hunting parties enjoy an eighty percent success rate and take home top quality big game trophies.Give yourself a fair chance at success by allowing ample time to get the job done.

                                                  We recommend:

Wild Boar or Ram: one and a half to two and a half days

Wild Boar-Ram combo: two and a half days

Trophy whitetail deer: three to five and a half days

We will be glad to itemize the cost of your hunting package with you when you call. We will let you know what you will owe with and without your intended harvest.

S.C. hunting license is required. Deer hunters also need a big game stamp. You should purchase your license in advance by calling 866-714-3611 or at www.dnr.sc.gov
